John Palumbo – The latest addition to our Adobo family is John Palumbo, singer/songwriter, bandleader, engineer/producer, and much more. John will be releasing his latest album on Adobo, entitled Vampire. The first single is out, called “Jack Smith.”
John is quite accomplished in many artistic disciplines, including book publishing and screenwriting.
Vampire is slated for release in early 2024.
Kay Fortuna – Sultry, soulful rocker Kay Fortuna sings stories from the heart. Honest, bold, and fiery, she is sure to grab your ear. Internationally recognized, Kay is a powerhouse with grit. Check out her music, she’s got a lot to say. And you’d better listen!
Tim Steele – Rock drummer-turned-singer/songwriter Tim Seele covers all the bases of music styles, from soft ballads and lullabyes to heavy dark sardonic rockers. Tim’s vocal stylings are unique and lyrics spot on and imaginative.

John The Baptist features songs from songwriter John Blackwell. Don’t let the band name fool you, it is definitely not a contemporary christian band. John’s music features a wide range of styles, with rock, jazz, love songs, humor, and sometimes with dark themes.
John’s music eschews the standard “rules” of songwriting as he blazes his own trail of mesmerizing melodic content which are definietly different, but sound amazingly familiar. Coming from a musical family background, his vocals are rich with precision and emotion, sometimes ironic, even occasionally downright sardonic.
The Velvet Souls – Veteran rockers and Maryland Music Hall of Fame inductees Rosalie Wampler and Frederic Tepper joined forces to write a variety of feel-good songs, from reggae influenced to hard rockers.
Elena Martin – The newest addition to the Adobo Records family, Elena is a dynamic powerhouse in a small package. She is a formally trained vocalist, and breathed life into her new single.
Used To Be Pete – A rock recording project brought singer/songwriters Bobby Hird and Jimmy “The Wood” Jones together with some friends to record their compositions. It was a fun project, with songs ranging from Americana to Show Tunes to Prog to Swamp music. It’s an interesting eclectic mix of music.
The Common Roots Jazz Ensemble – Featuring original traditional jazz compositions from Mitch Mirkin, and performed by a select group of accomplished jazz cats, Mitch released his second offering on Adobo Records.
