3/24/22 — Adobo Records is saddened to announce the passing of one of our artists. Mitch Mirkin was the jazz composer and the man who wrote the compositions behind Adobo Records artists The Common Roots Jazz Ensemble. He wrote the songs for the Adobo release The Madison Avenue Shul, as well as an about-to-be-released CD entitled Rebound. Naturally, the project is on hold at the moment. We extend our deepest condolences and sympathies for Mitch’s friends and family, RIP.
3/22/22 — The latest Adobo Records release from Tim Steele hits the streets today. It’s a maritime-themed song about finding sanctuary from the storms, and is called Safety Harbor.
Safety Harbor stretches out with special guests Kajun Kelley on guitar, Bobby Peters on fretless bass, and Joe Conway punctuating with his flugelhorn.

We started in early 2019, which kicked off with the launching of the Used To Be Pete EP1 CD in June of this year. September brought us Kay Fortuna’s entry into the spotlight, and her music is taking off internationally in an extremely short period of time.
