Moneymaker is written by Kay, a song about the seedy side of the life of an exotic dancer. The story is told from the dancer’s point of view, who is quietly observing the clientele in the strip clubs while she is working. It gives the listener a sense of revulsion to the objectification and depersonalization that comes with the job. But, hey, a girl’s gotta eat, right? Right?
