Adobo Radio 24×7

Adobo Records is pleased to announce the launch of Adobo Radio, an internet radio station featuring music from Adobo artists, and more. We’re passionate about new independent music and are always on the lookout for new and exciting tunes.

In the coming weeks we’ll begin semi-regularly scheduled talk segments, in a similar vein as our Real Time Music Network shows, where we bring in original music artists to talk about their music, and God only know what else. (We remember a couple of times when we had bassist Jeff Wolinski in here and we would hang out and talk about any and everything, from botany to fly-fishing)…a little something for everyone.

Adobo announces new artist

Adobo Records is proud to announce a new addition to our roster. The artist’s name is John The Baptist, featuring the music created by John Blackwell. John is a singer/songwriter from Maryland, and his music is for eclectic tastes. John covers the wide variety of musical styles ranging from sensitive love songs, to thoughtful, almost spiritual themes, sometimes with humorous and featuring bizarre topics. The thing is, each song has a story behind it. Abandoning typical cliche song structure, John’s musical delivery is simple and straightforward, with catchy melodies that stick with the listener, in both the musical and the lyrical arenas.

John’s new album for his band is eponymously named, and is now proudly available for download or in CD form, as well as available for purchase or streaming on all major music streaming outlets. Put John The Baptist on your Favorites playlist.
