The Baker Files from Crack The Sky now released

The Baker Files, the latest EP release from Crack The Sky hits the streets today, on Adobo Records. The release coincides with the band’s three-day stint at the storied Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis MD. The first single, Madness On Comet Way, is already gaining traction on all streaming outlets.

an interesting backstory

This highly anticipated EP features five enhanced song demos recorded by John Palumbo in 1976.  Two songs made it to John’s 1978 Innocent Bystander album in a re-recorded full-band version. The demos, originally recorded on just a piano and lead vocal, were sponsored by Palumbo’s manager, hence the name “The Baker Files.” The demo recordings have been meticulously restored and expanded by the current band members – Rick Witkowski, Bobby Hird, Joe Macre, and Joey D’Amico – to capture the original prog rock essence of Crack the Sky.

“The Baker Files” showcases Palumbo‘s signature witty lyrics and features the band’s signature innovative musical approach. Fans can expect a sonic journey filled with unexpected twists and turns, delivered with the precision and passion that Crack the Sky has become renowned for.
