Born in the iconic Summer of Love, Jay is a seasoned musician, singer, and songwriter with a career as diverse as it is inspiring. From his early days performing as a character actor at Walt Disney World to his high-flying stunts at Universal Studios, Jay’s life has been a whirlwind of creativity and adventure.
After a decade of nomadic living, Jay found his musical home in Baltimore. He joined the legendary band The Mahoney Brothers, touring the country and captivating audiences with his soulful vocals and guitar prowess.
Jay’s solo career has yielded critically acclaimed albums, including “Welcome to My World” and “Rosalie.” His latest project, the Jay Swanson Band, blends classic rock, blues, and Americana into a sound that is both timeless and contemporary.
Now Jay has joined the Adobo Records family with the release of Hey Margarita, featuring Jay on guitars, keyboards, and vocals, with Tim Steele on drums, R. Lee Townsend on bass, and special guest Robyn Bingham on soulful background vocals.
